Wedding Ceremony & Reception at Blithewold Manor

Set on 33 acres overlooking the sweeping waters of Narragansett Bay, Blithewold Manor is a historic summer estate. The grand manor and its surrounding gardens create a setting that feels elegant and enchanting.

We’ll begin with a garden ceremony, then move to the manor grounds for cocktail hour, with the celebration continuing into the evening at the reception.

Dress code: Black tie optional.

If you have a tuxedo and are excited for an occasion to wear it, we'd love to see it—but a dark suit is equally appropriate. For dresses, floor-length gowns, formal cocktail dresses, or other evening attire are all wonderful choices. Have fun with it and wear something that makes you feel your best.

As our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on the lawn, we recommend block heels, wedges, or other shoes that are comfortable on grass. We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white, cream, or pale yellow.
